LOCATION:
Bath, Wiltshire
DATE DESIGNED:
2003
THE GARDEN BEFORE:
A tiny
patch of lawn that had little use and required a great deal of work, tired
concrete paths and walls and unruly plants that had taken over - this
garden had become impractical and unsightly.
THE GARDEN
AFTER:
As the property was to be let out on occasion, a low maintenance, user
friendly garden was key. Removing all the lawn, sorting out the levels
and providing practical spaces such as a proper outside dining area, seats
for contemplation and an area for wildlife, took this garden onto a whole
new level. The plants chosen such as lavender, rosemary, peonies, roses
etc helped link the garden to the pretty cottage exterior. |
