THE GARDEN BEFORE:
A
long narrow garden with little interest and few plants. The strip of lawn
bordered by a long, straight concrete path made the garden feel even narrower
than it actually was.
THE GARDEN
AFTER:
Turning the garden at a 45 degree angle immediately gave it width and
depth. Combining this with colourful plants a series of garden rooms was
created, which broke up the sightlines so that you never knew what was
round the corner. A hanging chair and hammock gave the clients the 'relaxation'
time that they were after. |
